One name, different plants
Rubber plant
Which plant do you mean?
Rubber plant can be confused with baby rubber plant. Ficus elastica and Peperomia obtusifolia are different plants with different cat-safety guidance. Check the scientific label; these are examples rather than every plant sold under a rubber-plant name.
No safety classification applies to this shared name. Choose an exact plant to read its reviewed guide.
